High Tatras offer 22 kilometres well-kept downhill courses. Three centres, Tatranská Lomnica, Štrbské Pleso and Starý Smokovec guarantee snow for five months.
High Tatras have long and rich tradition as a skiing region. These skiing centres are among the TOP winter centres in Slovakia.

6.5 kilometres long downhill course awaits for you in Tatranská Lomnica, together with the one that is the steepest – at 2 190 m.a.s.l. from Lomnické sedlo (saddle).
Štrbské Pleso has 9 kilometres of downhill courses and a snowpark.
Starý Smokovec is known for shorter and easier tracks ideal for children and beginners. Apres Ski and loads of domestic stands can be found in every centre.


Tatranská Lomnica

The centre of Tatranská Lomnica offers 11 downhill courses of different difficulty, 1 300 metres of height difference and 6.5 kilometres long carving trail that is 60 metres wide. Skiing centre Lopušná dolina (valley) is situated 3 kilometres from Svit. The centre is from 777 m.a.s.l. A parking lot is at the entrance of the skiing area. Refreshments can be found in a buffet. The centre also offers night skiing.
