Markets

The most famous and biggest market is at Miletičova Street and offers fresh fruit and vegetables, flowers, but also stands with cheap clothes from Asia. It is located a bit further from the centre, but you can get there by tram. The same selection can be found in a sheltered market-hall at Trnavské mýto. Both markets are places of authentic life in Bratislava mainly on satirdays mornings. Further away from the centre near Kuchajda lake is a farmer´s market. During Christmas time people enjoy visiting traditional Christmas markets with rich cultural program in the city centre. Smaller markets take place there also during spring and summer.
