Discover the mountain FIS*** Hotel, the largest hotel – sports complex in the High Tatras, situated at the altitude of 1,346 metres near the tarn of Štrbské pleso. The location makes it a real oasis for sportsmen who seek the best conditions for good training but also people who want to relax in the heart of beautiful Slovak grand mountains. The hotel has a long sports tradition and was even named after the international ski federation (FIS). In 1970, it was launched officially by Mark Hodler, FIS president at that time.
Only a few metres from ski slopes, cross-country skiing tracks and tourist trails, one can enjoy various activities but also use flawless services and traditional hospitality of this ski in – ski out hotel in the truest sense of the word. Men´s four-legged friends are welcome at this first dog-friendly hotel in the High Tatras as well.
The FIS*** hotel underwent a large reconstruction in 2012. The entrance hall, the café and the lobby were refurbished in a mountain style, which underlines the atmosphere of the Tatras. The biggest innovation is the new Natural Wellness & Spa, which resembles a mountain meadow and offers absolute relaxation.
