4 Days – 4 Cultures – 4 Vineyards – 4 Gourmet experiences
The first day belongs to Hungary. In the morning we are ,moving from Vienna towards our first stop, St. Margarethen´s village. There we will lool over the roman stone pit (UNESCO World Heritage). Welcome brunch will take place at the Neusiedler´s lake, followed by a walk across the medieval town Šoproň. Then our steps will lead to the magnificent seat of Esterhazyshire, also known as Hungarian Versilles. The day will end up in the picturesque village of Dunakility, where we will tasre local wines and traditional gourmet delights.
During the morning of second day we are moving to Slovakia. Getting started with the tour across historical Bratislava in the comfort of a small train. After the lunch in the historic park of the capital city we will continue with our tour to the Red stone castle, the property of Fugger and Palffy genus in the past. In the evening, there will be chance to try how to make traditional pottery, by which is Modra famous for. A traditional dinner will include a guided tasting of local wines.
Czech republic will be on our list for the third day. The whole day will be dedicated to Lednicko – Valticky Areal (UNESCO heritage sites). There will be a wonderful visit of the baroque complex and the chapel of the castle of Valtice ahead. After lunch we will move to the castle of Lednice, the summer seat of the Lichtensteinshire. In the afternoon, we will move to Mikulov, the nearby city with a long wine-growing tradition. After a short tour we can enjoy the traditional Czech food and the incredible moravian show.
The fourth day is already a return to Austria. Throughtout a way we will visit the ancient town of Klosterneuburg, where the vineyard of Klosterneuburg´s monastery has approximately 900 years and is not just one of the oldest vineyards in Austria, but also one of the largest. It has an area of 108 hectares of cultivated land. We will again traste local wines and local specialities. In the afternoon we will arrive to Vienna, where we wil end our trip with the traditional austrian cake.
